The SASAC of the State Council recently released 2023 special evaluation results of “Technical Reform Action” of state-owned key enterprises. Among 349 enterprises being evaluated this time, Lishen Battery score ranked the top 20%, the best “model” level. Lishen Battery won the honor for two consecutive years since it was nominated in the action in 2022.

Taking “Technical Reform Action” precisely and intensively is one of key tasks of state-owned enterprises in its reform and upgrading activities. The action is designed to build, though comprehensive reform, a team of outstanding state-owned enterprises with scientific perfect governing structure, flexible and highly efficient marking mechanism, strong Party leadership, innovation and competitiveness. These companies should fully play the model and leading roles, gather the reform strength of state-owned enterprises and create the new pattern and good trend of fully initiated reform among state owned companies.

Lishen Battery is China’s first lithium-ion battery R&D and manufacturer under China Chengtong group. It continued effort in key core technology breakthrough since it was nominated “technical reform enterprise”. It has been improving its technology innovation mechanism, improves core competitiveness earnestly. Four national key R&D projects and Tianjin key R&D projects undertaken by Lishen Battery were evaluated successively. It focuses on new type energy storage technology, super capacitor technology, sodium ion battery technology and semi-solid battery technology and several models of products are released. It undertakes key tasks of strategic emerging industry innovation action assigned by the State Council’s SASAC and actively promotes the strategic cooperation among upstream and downstream state-owned key enterprises in industrial chain.

Lisen Battery has always followed top-level plan and high-level promotion and intensified system building. It optimizes capital distribution, deepens system reform, explores medium to long term incentives and upgrade independent innovation capacity.
