Zhang Qiang Met with Lenovo Delegation

On 7 June, Zhang Qiang, deputy secretary of the Party committee and general manager of Lishen Battery met with a delegation headed by Ma Zhaochun, the vice president of Lenovo. Mao Dawei, assistant to general manager of Lishen Battery and executive director of Tianjin Juyuan and, Jia Xueheng, general manager of Tianjin Juyuan, were present in the meeting.
In the meeting, Zhang Qiang expressed his warm welcome to the delegation. He introduced, in particular, the operation and future development strategy of Lishen Battery. Mao Dawei and Jia Xueheng introduced the production expansion plan of consumer battery production line. They said Lishen Battery would invest more in hardware and software of consumer battery and maintain close communication and cooperation with Lenovo. They invited the delegation to attend the commissioning ceremony of new production line.
In the discussion, Ma Zhaochun echoed the highlight of Lishen Battery in battery sector and investment and expressed his hope to join hands with Lishen in consumer products and closely follow the demand trend for PC performance, accelerate product upgrading. Ma also encouraged Lishen to invest more in software and hardware, upgrade production line and products, be intensively engaged in consumer battery, interact with Lenovo and expand cooperation and win-win in development of Lenovo Tianjin Innovation Park as part of close industrial chain partnership.
The delegation visited Phase V A and B projects and learned battery manufacture process and quality control.
Relevant heads of Tianjin Juyuan R&D and Quality Department, project management team and marketing office and head of Lenovo R&D Department also attended the meeting.
