On 14 September, Zhang Qiang, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and general manager of Lishen Battery, met with a delegation of Energy Storage Tech. Zhang Qiang warmly welcome the delegation. He stressed the cooperation between the two companies and planned a special “Iron Triangle” team to undertake the cooperation; he proposed the idea of applying complementary advantages of each other for joint development and to promote deep strategic binding between the two. They would work together to promote high-quality development of energy storage industry and transformation to green and low-carbon model, jointly build competitive and safe guarded benchmark enterprise in energy storage industry, the "state-owned and top enterprise brands".

Zhao Wenqiang pointed out his ideas and directions for the cooperation. He said, “The first is that both sides, being top state-owned enterprises, should always unite their strength, enhance strategic cooperation and lead the industry to high dimensional development; The second is that both should increase technical exchange, mutual benefit and mutual assistance in the planning, design, development of and system platform for energy storage related products; The third is that, the two should work together to create a highly integrated overall solution for energy storage development projects for greater economic benefit and commercial value.

During the visit, Zhao Wenqiang and the delegation visited Lishen Battery exhibition hall and listened to the presentation on the company's development history, main products, industrial layout, technological innovation and knowledge accumulation.
