Overall Description:Responsible for design and R&D of Lithium Ion projects

Responsibilities:

1.Protocol development and implementation of Lithium Ion projects.

2.Design of battery products ( plastic case, contact system, cell pack, safety circuit like Flex PCB, etc) according to the products specification.

3.Provide technical support to the purchasing and potential local sourcing vendors.

4.Issue the part evaluation report and engineering documents, eg. 1st article document, Internal Product Spec., drawings. and BOM.

5.Liaise with headquarter, oversea branch office and customer to determine the

design/product development rendering or specification.

6.Problem solving and trouble shooting during the design development stage or production stage.

7.Lead the engineering and production pilot.

8.Work out the conceptual design and engineering prototype.

9.Communication with interdepartmental to fasten the project growth.

10.Provide technical support for tooling development process ( from turning the design to production parts).

Requirement:

1.Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent knowledge

2.Must have min. 3 years of experience in Li-ion battery design, and have an excellent grasp of engineering concepts and principles.

3.Have strong analytical skills and an innovative approach to problem solving

4.Have excellent communication skills.

5.Be able to visualize ideas.

6.Have an understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.

7.Have an appreciation of the wider business and environmental impact of design ideas.

8.Good command of English (min CET level6)
