News on the 9th China Northern International Bicycle Exhibition

On March 27th, the three-day 9th China Northern International Bicycle Exhibition was opened at Tianjin International Exhibition Center and Sports Center. This exhibition was the largest bicycle exhibition in northern China with the highest technology level, and attracted more than 500 domestic and foreign manufacturers to participate. This exhibition was themed as “Harmonious, Creative and Develop”. It focused on the technology research and product innovation, demonstrated the latest successful application of new materials as Magnesium alloy and Li-ion battery. It also drew lots of attention from the municipal government. Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee, Mayor Huang Xingguo, Vice Mayor Ren Xuefeng, Secretary-Generel Li Quanshan and other leaders from municipal government presented to visit and guide.

Our Company participated this bicycle exhibition as important exhibitor. We showed our self-developed new material power battery and various brands of E-bikes powered by Lishen’s battery at the 90 m2 booth. During the exhibition, Company’s Vice President Liang Rui was invited to attend “Confidence 2009－ 2nd Electric Vehicle Industry Development Forum” jointly held by CCTV.com EV Channel and Tianjin Bicycle Industry Association, and accepted the interview from the authentic magazine EV Business, EV Operation & Business and other media.

Most of the bicycle makers have promoted their products using Li-ion Battery and many companies have expressed their willingness in cooperating with Lishen. This indicates that Li-ion Battery’s advantages have been recognized by E-bike industry and the replacement of lead-acid battery has been speeded up. This year, the E-bike shipment volume will reach to 20 million which will become an important economic increase point to Lishen.
