| Foundation Stone Laid for Pilot Base of Electric Vehicle Industrialization |

Tianjin Qingyuan Electric Vehicle Corporation hold a foundation stone laying ceremony of electric vehicle’s power assembly and whole-car industrialization in west district of TEDA on Dec. 18th, 2006, which symbolizes Tianjin’s initiation in the industrialization of electric vehicle. Qin Xingcai，President of Lishen and Liang Rui, Secretary of the Board of Directors of Lishen, were invited to the ceremony as the representatives of Qingyuan’s second largest shareholder.
With a total investment of 165 million RMB, one production line for electric vehicle power assembly will be established in the pilot base. The power assembly line can cover the demands of pure EV (electric vehicle), HEV (hybrid electric vehicle), and FCV (fuel cell vehicle) with an annual assembly capacity of 30,000 sets. Meanwhile, an assembly production line for pure EV will also be established with an annual manufacturing capacity of 20,000 sets. In addition, Lishen will actively drive the development and supply for power batteries as one of the critical parts in power assembly. The whole project is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
